The Chatterboxes is a youth action project run by young people with disabilities aged 11-25 years old which has been running in Bournemouth for over 6 years.

Their main aim is to raise awareness of disabilities and create a community which is equal for all whilst being surrounded by friendship and laughter.
They are currently recruiting young people with disabilities aged 15-18 living in Dorset to join their new Chatterbox youth group.
The project is run every Monday evenings from 6.00-8.00pm at the Riffs Youth Club, Mountbatten Drive, Ferndown BH22 9FB
Within the group there is a focus on transitions and supporting members to build skills to help them in the future. Activities include cookery, safety workshops, arts and crafts, film making, magazine design and much more. AQA Awards are also completed by members as well as using a peer mentoring scheme throughout their projects where older members mentor younger members.

If you know of any young people who may benefit from attending the project, please contact Chatterboxes via email or ring on the number below.
