Charities Autism Wessex & The Stable Family Home Trust are teaming up this Christmas to brave the freezing cold for the very first festive fundraising 'Deer to Pier' Reindeer fun run in the town centre in aid of Autism.

We are hugely grateful to Preston Redman Solicitors for kindly sponsoring this event.

Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) is a lifelong, hidden disability affecting the way a person thinks and processes information. Around 700,000 individuals across the UK have a diagnosis. There are approximately 7,500 people living with autism in Dorset and they require changes to be made, to support them to communicate & interact with the world.

Both Autism Wessex and Stable Family Home Trust provide life changing services for children and adults with autism and other disabilities as well as for their families. With your support you can help us bring some extra Christmas cheer this year and raise money for this wonderful cause!

Our 5k ‘Pier to Deer’ Reindeer Run on Sunday 8th of December kicks off at Bournemouth Pier Approach, Bournemouth at 14:30pm and will provide a magical, fun experience for all the family. Registration is from 13.45pm Pier Approach and warm up at 14.15pm.

Absolutely everyone is welcome to join in. You can walk, hop, skip, run or stampede from pier to pier raising money for 2 local, worthy causes. Anyone who joins in the fun will get their own set of reindeer antlers complete with a flashing nose that will add the finishing touch to any festive fancy dress which you are all invited to wear, the wackier the better!

There will be some fantastic entertainment on the day, warm up with The Gym Tin, festive live music, refreshments and a chance to meet Charity Mascot, Fidget the Cat!
