We are delighted to announce that the full amount has been raised for our 'Bouncing Back' project, enabling us to purchase and install two in-ground trampolines at Portfield School, benefiting the students in our Early Years and Key Stage 1 age groups.

This project is now fully funded, thank you!

Thank you to The Percy Bilton Charity and Sport England for their invaluable contribution.

The commercial-grade trampolines we have purchased and installed are highly durable, allowing for multiple people bouncing, such as an accompanying support worker, family member or friend, and will be used for both curriculum and extra-curriculum activities. This also offers the perfect opportunity for the students to learn social skills and develop their social interaction with peers.

By helping to fund this project, you have supported our pupils to bounce back in the current Covid-climate. Trampolining can aid the development, improvement and maintenance of motor skills, physical co-ordination and impulse control. Sadly, our old trampolines were domestic, not fit for purpose and quickly broke from overuse.

The new trampolines have been installed and the children have loved getting outside and bouncing on them! Thank you to everyone who made this possible.
