Basepoint Business Centre in Bournemouth has doubled the total raised by teams at our recent Big Kids Sports Day.

Teams took part in the foam-filled “It’s a Knockout” style day at Bournemouth Sports Club to raise over £3,100. Basepoint Bournemouth has doubled the sum as part of its pledge to donate £10,000 to our Information and Advice Service in 2017/18.

Fiona Hawkins, Fundraising Executive said; “We would like to say congratulations and a huge thank you to everyone that took part in our Big Kids Sports Day. Teams really got stuck in on the day and with their fundraising in spite of the rain! Thank you to Basepoint for their great support in boosting the total raised.”

Karl Fuller of Basepoint Business Centre in Bournemouth said; “We are so pleased to support the efforts of everyone that got soaked for a great cause! Well done to everyone that took part. We know the work that Autism Wessex does is life changing and are delighted to be continuing to support the charity again this year.”

Basepoint, who provide a wide range of high quality workspaces to let across the UK, run a charitable scheme whereby each local centre nominates a chosen charity to partner with. The nominated charities undertake a variety of local fundraising activities and money raised from these events is then matched by the ACT Foundation.
