Basepoint Business Centre has raised an impressive £812 by hosting a Big Brekkie at its centre in Bournemouth.

Licensees at the centre recently enjoyed a breakfast of bacon, sausage and egg baps, fresh fruit and pastries for a donation to our Big Brekkie campaign.

A fantastic £406 was raising on the morning, which was then doubled by Basepoint as part of its pledge to donate £10,000 to us in 2017/18.

Big Brekkie is our annual campaign to raise awareness of autism and funds for our Information and Advice Service. Supported by celebrity chefs Lesley Waters and Mat Follas, Big Brekkie aims to encourages people across the region to host breakfast events in their workplaces, schools and with friends. So far this year the campaign has raised over £6,800 and will be returning again in April next year!

Karl Fuller of Basepoint Business Centre in Bournemouth said;

“A big thank you to everyone that came along to our Big Brekkie and donated so generously. We are thrilled to be able to donate over £800 to Autism Wessex. We know the work that the charity’s Information and Advice Service does is life changing for so many local people and are delighted to play a part in supporting it.”

Basepoint, who provide a wide range of high quality workspaces to let across the UK, runs a charitable scheme whereby each local centre nominates a chosen charity to partner with. The nominated charities undertake a variety of local fundraising activities and money raised from these events is then matched by the ACT Foundation.”
