On Sunday 8th December we hosted the first ever Deer to Pier Reindeer Run at Bournemouth Pier alongside fellow local charity, Stable Family Home Trust.

Over 200 people joined us and braved the cold and the wind on the day. Even a torrential downpour didn't dampen the spirits! Thankfully, the sun soon came back out and shone for all our dashers, dancers, and prancers, just in time for the ribbon to be cut and the run to begin.

A huge congratulations go to the winners of each of our categories, Hugo who won the Fastest Man, Sinead who won the Fastest Woman, and Matthew who won the Fastest Under 16.

We would like to thank the incredible volunteers who joined us on the day and helped Deer to Pier run smoothly!

A special thank you to Dorset Police Cadets, Bournemouth University Relays Team, staff and supporters from Stable Family Home Trust and Autism Wessex, trustees and governors from Stable Family Home Trust and Autism Wessex, and Bournemouth CVS.

We would also like to thank the following local businesses for their invaluable support, we wouldn't have been able to create such a wonderful event without you.

A special thank you to Preston Redman Solicitors, The Fox Agency, The Works, Wimborne Tennis Club, Mason and Co Property Consultants Ltd, Gym Tin, Aruba Bar and Restaurant, HOT Radio, Wessex Water, ASDA St Pauls, Nerve Radio, Bournemouth Pier Retail, Littledown Fireworks, Bournemouth Echo, and AFC Bournemouth NCS Project.

We were very grateful to have Bournemouth Echo with us on the day, taking photos of all of our wonderful participants. You can see their photos using the button below, can you spot someone you know?
